Upon completing his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Layne M. Ruesser, MD, completed his cardiology fellowship at the Univ0ersity of New Mexico and joined our group in August 1993. Like the other members of our group he is Board Certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine and performs consultative, invasive and interventional cardiology and has a particular interest in transesophageal echocardiography.
